Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon landing at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy the evening at leisure, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, begin your safari with a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. En route, pass through the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll catch a glimpse of local life and colorful markets.

Once inside the park, enjoy a game drive in a landscape of lush forests and sparkling lake shores. Watch for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and a diversity of birdlife. After an exciting day, head to your overnight stay near the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to the Serengeti (Ndutu Region)

Depart early as you journey toward the southern plains of the Serengeti. Drive through the misty highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might spot elephants or baboons in the forest.

Optional stops along the way include:

• Oldupai Gorge Museum – Discover ancient human history at one of the world’s most significant paleoanthropological sites.

• Maasai Village Visit – Immerse yourself in Maasai traditions with a cultural tour and traditional dances.

In the afternoon, arrive in the Ndutu region, a key part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy a game drive among the calving grounds of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras bring the savannah to life.

Day 4: Full Day in Ndutu Region

Rise early for a sunrise safari along Lake Ndutu, where the plains are teeming with wildlife. Continue your exploration toward the Gol Plains in search of predators like cheetahs and lions.

Later, visit Lake Masek, a serene water body that attracts a variety of birds, hippos, and browsing herbivores. End the day with a game drive across the sweeping plains of the Serengeti, keeping an eye out for elusive leopards, foraging hyenas, and elegant giraffes.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin the day with a drive through the Serengeti en route to Ngorongoro, offering more chances to witness the breathtaking herds and predators in their natural habitat.

Arrive at the Ngorongoro region by evening, where your accommodation awaits near the crater rim or in nearby Karatu.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha and Flight to Zanzibar

Descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wildlife haven and home to the Big Five. Enjoy a full morning of game viewing on the crater floor, with highlights including black rhinos, hippos, lions, and flamingos.

After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, travel back to Arusha for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation in historic Stone Town.

Day 7: Explore Stone Town & Spice Tour

Discover the cultural heart of Zanzibar with a guided tour through Stone Town’s narrow alleys, historic buildings, and lively bazaars. Learn about the island’s spice trade, Arab influence, and slave trade history.

In the afternoon, visit a local spice plantation to engage all your senses—smelling, tasting, and cooking with Zanzibar’s famed spices and tropical fruits. Return to your accommodation for an evening of leisure.

Day 8: Transfer to the Zanzibar Coast

After breakfast, head to the east or south coast of Zanzibar where white sands and turquoise waters await. Spend the rest of the day at your beachside retreat, soaking up the sun or enjoying water activities.

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach Leisure

Enjoy a full day to relax on the beach or explore optional excursions. Activities like snorkeling, diving, dhow sailing, and dolphin safaris can be arranged to make the most of your island stay.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey. As you leave with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wild landscapes and coastal charm, we hope to welcome you back again soon!
