Your Safari Day Plan
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Get picked up from your Arusha hotel at 7:30 am and meet your friendly safari guide. Your adventure begins with a scenic 1hr 45min drive to Tarangire National Park — famed for its sweeping landscapes dotted with ancient baobabs and Tanzania’s largest elephant herds.
Enjoy an exciting game drive searching for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Pause at the Tarangire picnic site for a delicious lunch with sweeping views of the Tarangire River — watch for curious monkeys and colorful birds!
After lunch, continue exploring before driving to Fig Tree Lodge at Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater — one of Africa’s natural wonders. The crater’s rich ecosystem shelters the Big Five, rare black rhinos, huge hippo pools, lions, leopards, elephants, and more.
